The Orton Waterville Village Show was held on Saturday 1st September. 
On a lovely day a record number of people turned up to enjoy one of our best shows ever.  
The number of exhibits was slightly less than last year,  but the quality certainly was not. 
We had 29 new exhibitors this year 3 of whom won major trophies.
Wonderful  work and produce  was shown in all sections with handicraft particularly notable. 
The Tea Tent did a roaring trade and there were great prizes on offer in the raffle and tombola. 
Next years show will be held in August 2008 and is open to exhibits from any resident of the Ortons area .
